Biotech Parks

The surging growth in the Indian Biotechnology sector over the last decade has led to many state governments to set up Biotech Parks and incubators as public or private-public joint ventures. These parks serve to provide small and medium entrepreneurs with easily available infrastructure. State governments are supporting industry players setting up their units at the parks, by offering tax holidays and incentive packages; as venture funding initiatives. The technical alliance between park members also promotes greater research.
